![]() I then ran another anti virus application which found the cryptowall ransom ware but i then discovered you had to purchase the full version to remove the malware. I have tried running avast and super anti spyware which both detected He hasnt made a backup of his word files which have been encrypted (i believe the ransomware is cryptowall 3.0 by the notepad document detailing how to pay the ransom and decrypt files). ![]() Upon using their desktop PC a notepad document opens when i reach the windows desktop, after further research i have found he has openedĪn "invoice" attachment from a malicious email and had no idea malware had been installed. So as part of my work experience i have been on a work placement for a few days helping with a charities I.T issues.
